Africa Must Move From Memory to Imagination!

If Africa were a woman, she would be suing the rest of the world for rape. Of her children and her resources. Over the past 200 plus years and continuing, the world has feasted at Africa’s expense, many cities and institutions in the west built literally on the blood, sweat and resources of Africa.

But the continent must not remain stunted and stunned by this historical fact. It is indeed time for the continent to move from a memory of past hurts to the imagination of future possibilities.

In this video, our Executive Director Maurice Ekpong made the case for Nigeria to make such a transition on August 21, 2020. From the desert of North Africa to the Ocean at the southernmost tip of the continent and from East to West, this rings true for all of Africa today!
