We are pleased to announce the takeoff of our pilot food security project targeting 100 low income households in Lagos Nigeria in the first instance.

The project includes appraising the status and food needs of each participating household, training and empowerment as well as plugging them into a sustainable food supply system over a three month period starting November 2023.

Some of the training modules include:

  • Understanding Your Food Security Status
  • Household Food Waste Reduction Strategies
  • Food Sanitation and Nutrition Management
  • Food Procurement and Storage Strategies
  • Food Income and Expenditure Management
  • Urban Backyard Farming for Self-Sufficiency

The cost of this empowerment project for each participant is estimated at $450 and is designed to be sustainable.

Replenish Specialties pledges to contribute 50 percent of profits on sale of food towards food security for at risk households.

To register as a participating household, you must reside in Lagos Nigeria and must have a monthly household income of less than 100,000 Nigerian Naira.

The first 100 households to fill out the form below by 12 noon October 31, 2023 will be enrolled on the program after satisfactory background checks.

If you want to register as a participating household, note the following:

  • Subject should be – I WANT TO PARTICIPATE
  • In the body of your message, indicate (1) size of your household (2) monthly income of breadwinner (3) residential address of your household (4) email address and (5) mobile phone number of main applicant
