Western Safe-Havens for Africa’s Stolen Resources Cause Poverty on the Continent.

The least corrupt countries in the world are the most prosperous with the lowest poverty rates; conversely, the most corrupt countries in the world are the least developed and poorest on the planet.

A cursory analysis of intra-country poverty will show that the most corrupt regions, states or locales are the poorest.

The easiest way to deal with poverty around the world is to tame the monster called corruption. Sadly, the most corrupt people increasingly act as gatekeepers to political power in the poorest countries; ensuring that corruption continues to bleed the public trust, transferring wealth from the many to the few!

To achieve SDG 1 which is zero poverty by 2030, frameworks that deal decisively with corrupt leadership in the poorest countries must be created and enforced.

Rich countries have a moral obligation to keep their financial systems free from proceeds of corruption from countries of concern! The problem is that some rich countries and their systems continue to aid and abet third world corruption for the benefit of their economies!

If you flip it, some of the richest countries may practically be the most corrupt in the world!!
